November 2, 2004 Mayor Starks called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:34 PM and the flag salute was given. Roll Call: Present: Councilmembers McClenny, Kaemingk, Gipson, Doolittle, Corpron-Smith and Morgan. Absent: Councilmember Colinas. Public Requests & Oral Communications: None. Reports of Committees & City Officials Councilwoman Corpron-Smith reported that the ESCA Mitigation passed with flying colors by FEMA. She attended the LID review board in Mill Creek last week and it was very informative. Approval of Minutes: Mayor Starks opened for consideration of approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of October 26, 2004. Councilmember Gipson moved and Councilmember Doolittle seconded to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of October 26, 2004. Motion Carried. Corrections APTA not AFTA. Old Business: Mayor Starks opened for discussion Final Plat Approval for the Plat of Highland Ridge. There was council discussion. Councilmember Gipson moved and Councilmember Doolittle seconded to approve Resolution No. 447.C for Final Plat Approval for Highland Ridge. Motion Carried. Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials Councilman Gipson inquired about the new proposed contract with Foster Pepper. He mentioned the email that Peggy Dare sent out a couple days ago to all the councilmembers regarding the Murphy Short Plat detention pond. Mr. Williams stated that they have been looking at the issue and they have had Hammond, Collier, Wade-Livingstone come out and look at the pond. There was council discussion. Adjournment Councilmember Gipson moved and Councilmember Doolittle seconded to adjourn. Mayor Starks declared the meeting adjourned at 8:00 PM.
