Brier City Council Minutes
June 20, 2006
Mayor Colinas called the Regular Brier City Council
Meeting prior to City Council Workshop Meeting to order at 7:30 PM and the flag
salute was given.
Roll Call:
Present: Councilmembers Krienke, Nick,
Kaemingk, Gipson, Corpron-Smith, Gem
Councilmember
Morgan arrived at 7: 50 PM.
Public
Requests & Oral Communications:
James
Lukehart 2943 216th St SW, stated that during the last City Council
Meeting Mr. Milosavljevic threatened Councilmember Corpron-Smith with a
personal lawsuit. He stated that the Mayor should stop it before it gets that
far.
Ed Walker
21206 Poplar Way, stated that he is upset with Mr. Milosavljevic.
Jorge
Garcia, City Engineer, 4010 Stone Way North, Suite #300 Seattle 98103, stated
that he no longer is serving as the City Engineer and introduced Jason Henry as
his replacement.
Reports of
Committees & City Officials:
Councilmember Gipson stated that he attended a
Police Crew Meeting on May 31, 2006 and the Community Transit Board Meeting on
June 1, 2006.
Councilmember Corpron-Smith stated that she attended
the Park Board Meeting on June 14, 2006.

Business:

Colinas opened for consideration final plat approval for MIR Enterprises L.L.C.
Subdivision #98-04 Poplar Glen located at 215XX Poplar Way, Brier by Vladan
Milosavljevic.
Mayor
Colinas stated that Rich Maag, Public Works and Jorge Garcia, City Engineer,
are in attendance.
Mayor
Colinas recessed for 5 minutes at 7:45 PM. The council returned from recess at
7:50 PM
There was
Council discussion with Rich Maag and Jorge Garcia on whether Mr. Milosavljevic
has completed everything.

8:04 PM.
Councilmember
Corpron-Smith
moved and Councilmember Gipson seconded to direct the City
Attorney to draft a Resolution with findings, facts and conclusions of law that
are granting final plat approval for MIR Enterprises L.L.C. Subdivision #98-04
located at 215XX Poplar Way, Brier by Vladan Milosavljevic. to the next Regular
City Council Meeting. Motion carried.
