Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:32 PM and the flag salute was given.

Roll Call:

Present:            Councilmembers Krienke, Nick, Kaemingk, Gipson, Corpron-Smith, Gem, and Morgan.

Absent:             None

Public Requests & Oral Communications: None

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilman Krienke attended the November. 1 special Planning Commission meeting to finalize the tree ordinance.

Councilman Kaemingk attended the October 26 South Snohomish Cities meeting. He will be bringing an Ordinance to the council soon in regard to LDMR, they want a moratorium put on these types of developments by the Snohomish County Council.

Councilman Gipson attended two Community Transit board meetings. He was elected to the Secretary position with Community Transit.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of October 24, 2006. Councilmember Gipson moved and Councilmember Kaemingk seconded to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of October 24, 2006.  Motion Carried.

Hearings:

Mayor Colinas opened the Public Hearing on 2007 Property Tax at 7:40 PM. There were no comments. Councilmember Corpron-Smith moved and Councilmember Nick seconded to close the Public Hearing at 7:41 PM. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened the Public Hearing on 2007 Sewer Rate increase at 7:43 PM. Ed Walker 21206 Poplar Way asked if the increase will be 2.5 %. He hopes they will take the minimum necessary. Councilmember Krienke moved and Councilmember Gipson seconded to close the Public Hearing at 7:45 PM. Motion Carried.

New Business, Petitions, Communications, Applications & Appeals:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of additional dental coverage change to AWC master participation agreement. Councilmember Corpron-Smith moved and Councilmember Gipson seconded to approve additional dental coverage change to AWC master participation agreement. Motion Carried.

Councilmember Nick moved and Councilmember Corpron-Smith seconded to adjourn to Workshop. Motion Carried. Mayor Colinas declared the meeting adjourned to Workshop at 7:52 PM.
