Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:32:07 PM     and dispensed with the flag salute.

Roll Call:                 

PRESENT:    Mayor Colinas; Councilmember Gem, Nick, Corpron-Smith and Steele. Councilmember Gipson arrived at 7:33 PM. Councilmember Krienke arrived at 7:34 PM.   

ABSENT:    Councilmember Kaemingk.

Public Requests & Oral Communications:   None.

Reports of Committees & City Officials

Councilmember Corpron-Smith met with the Mayor and Park Board member Stephanie West at Bobcat Park to see where they could potentially start to implement the master plan for that park. She would like to see if they could begin with a big toy.

Councilmember Steele attended a Sno-Isle meeting regarding a levy lift at Lynnwood Library.

Councilmember Nick reviewed claim warrants on December 7^th.

Approval of Minutes

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of December 9, 2008.  Councilmember Gem MOVED to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of December 9, 2008. Councilmember Corpron-Smith SECONDED. Motion Carried with Councilmember Nick abstaining.

Ordinances, Resolutions & Orders

Mayor Colinas opened the Public Hearing at 7:37 PM for consideration of Ordinance No. 361 Repealing Park Fees. No public was in attendance. Councilmember Gipson MOVED to close the public hearing. Councilmember Krienke SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Councilmember Steele MOVED to adopt Ordinance No.  361 Repealing Park Fees    Councilmember Krienke SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of Resolution No. 510 Adopting Park Fees. Councilmember Corpron-Smith MOVED to approve Resolution No. 510 Adopting Park Fees. Councilmember Nick SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials

Councilmember Nick appreciated seeing the Mayor and Rich Maag out sanding the roads on Sunday.
