Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:30:01 PM      and the flag salute was given.

Roll Call:                 

PRESENT:                Mayor Colinas; Councilmember Gem, Krienke, Corpron-Smith, Steele and Gallagher. Councilmember Kaemingk arrived at 7:32 PM.        

ABSENT:                  Councilmember Olson.

STAFF:                     Clerk-Treasurer Swisher.

Public Requests & Oral Communications: None.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Krienke attended the Park Board meeting on January 13^th and a Kenmore City Council meeting on January 25^th.

Councilmember Corpron-Smith attended the Park Board meeting on January 13^th and a Kenmore City Council meeting on January 25^th.

Councilmember Steele attended the Library Board meeting on January 13^th and the CT meeting to elect board members on January 21^st; in addition she will be attending the ESCA Board meeting this Thursday January 28^th.

Councilmember Kaemingk attended the South Snohomish Cities meeting on January 7^th, the Planning Commission meeting on January 20^th and the Kenmore City Council meeting on January 25^th; he will be attending the legislative conference in Olympia over the next two days.

Mayor Colinas shared information of his visit to last night’s Kenmore City Council meeting.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of January 12, 2010. Councilmember Steele MOVED to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of January 12, 2010. Councilmember Kaemingk SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials

Mayor Colinas asked the Council for a motion to authorize the purchase of fuel. Councilmember Krienke MOVED to authorize a fuel purchase up to $6,000. Councilmember Corpron-Smith SECONDED.   Motion Carried.
