Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:31:47 PM and the flag salute was given.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of May 11, 2010. Councilmember Kaemingk made a MOTION to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of May 11, 2010. Councilmember Steele SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Workshop Minutes of May 18, 2010. Councilmember Nick made a MOTION to approve Brier City Council Minutes of May 18, 2010. Councilmember Olson SECONDED. Councilmember Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Workshop Minutes of June 1, 2010. Councilmember Gallagher made a MOTION to approve Brier City Council Minutes of June 1, 2010. Councilmember Steele SECONDED. Councilmember Corpron Smith abstained. Motion Carried.

New Business, Petitions, Communications, Applications & Appeals:

Councilmember Kaemingk made a MOTION to confirm the Mayor’s appointment of Rebecca Westin to the Planning Commission position #2 for a term to expire 1/31/2011. Councilmember Corpron-Smith SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of Bond release for Critchlow Homes Short Plat #03-004, Bond #574774S in the amount of $17,805.00. Councilmember Nick made a MOTION to approve Bond release for Critchlow Homes Short Plat #03-004, Bond #574774S in the amount of $17,805.00. Councilmember Olson SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:

Councilmember Steele attended the ESCA board meeting on May 27, 2010, attended the Library Board meeting on May 12th, reviewed the Annual Report on May 24th and reviewed the claims on June 8, 2010.

Councilmember Corpron-Smith made a MOTION to cancel the Brier City Council Workshop meeting of June 15, 2010. Councilmember Steele SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the May 2010 Payroll Checks. Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve the May 2010 Payroll Checks No. 17098 through No. 17151 in the amount of $121,350.61 with Checks No. 17043, 16990 and 16937 being voided. Councilmember Krienke SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the May 2010 Claim Checks.  Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve the May 2010 Claim Checks No. 21496 through No.21544 in the amount of $143,690.08. Councilmember Gallagher SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the May 2010 Checks. Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve May 2010 Checks No. 9831 through No. 9847 in the amount of $54,710.96 with Check No 9092, 9748 and 9807 being voided. Councilmember Nick SECONDED. Motion Carried.
