Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:31:56 PM  and the flag salute was dispensed.

Roll Call:                 

PRESENT:                Mayor Colinas; Councilmember Nick, Olson, Krienke, Corpron-Smith, Steele and Gallagher. Councilmember Kaemingk arrived at 7:38pm.

ABSENT:                  Councilmember Nick.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of June 8, 2010. Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of June 8, 2010. Councilmember Gallagher SECONDED. Motion Carried.

New Business, Petitions, Communications, Applications & Appeals:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration confirmation of the Mayor’s re-appointment of Steven Scott to the Planning commission, Position No. 7, with a term expiring July 31, 2012. Councilmember Gallagher made a MOTION to approve the Mayor’s re-appointment of Steven Scott to the Planning commission, Position No. 7, with a term expiring July 31, 2012. Councilmember Olson SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration the release of dual assignment of funds held by Prime Pacific Bank for the Schrader Short Plat #SP08-002 in the amount of $6,000.00. Councilmember Krienke made a MOTION to approve the release of funds held by Prime Pacific Bank for the Schrader Short Plat #SP08-002 in the amount of $6,000.00. Councilmember Corpron-Smith SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:

Councilmember Olsen attended the Police Negotiations June 10^th and 17^th. Councilmember Krienke attended the Park Board Meeting June 9^th where they discussed Bobcat Park, Brierwood Park Restrooms, and Sea-Skate on August 2^nd. Mayor Colinas discussed with Council that a section of the road on Alaska Way is sinking and the project is going out for additional bids. Councilmember Corpron-Smith asked about doing some new landscaping in front of City Hall. Councilmember Steele will be attending AWC RMSA Annual Meeting in Vancouver, WA. Councilmember Kaemingk attended the June 16^th Planning Commission Meeting where a new Planning Commissioner was introduced and new Planning Commission guidelines were discussed.
