Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:01 PM and dispensed with the flag salute.

ABSENT:                                    Councilmember Gallagher.

Councilmember Kaemingk - attended the RFA meeting March 7^th.

Councilmember Steele - reviewed the claims on March 10^th.

Councilmember Krienke - attended RFA meeting March 7^th.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of February 28, 2012. Councilmember Nick made a MOTION to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of February 28, 2012. Councilmember Steele SECONDED.

Councilmember Kaemingk abstained. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Workshop Minutes of March 6, 2012.  Councilmember Olson made a MOTION to approve Brier City Council Workshop Minutes of March 6, 2012. Councilmember Krienke SECONDED. Councilmember Steele abstained. Motion Carried.

New Business, Petitions, Communications, Applications & Appeals:

Mayor Colinas opened discussion of MUGA Boundary Revision. There was Council discussion.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials

Mayor Colinas proposed to cancel the March 20^th Workshop meeting due to lack of items. Councilmember Olson made a MOTION to cancel the March 20^th Workshop meeting due to lack of items. Councilmember Nick SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas reported that he and City Staff are working on revising the Nuisance and Animal code.

Auditing of Accounts

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the February 2012 Payroll Checks. Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve the February 2012 Payroll Checks No. 18247 through No. 18299 in the amount of $124,627.61. Councilmember Kaemingk SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the February 2012 Claim Checks.  Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve the February 2012 Claim Checks No. 22780 through No. 22837 in the amount of $458,136.84. Councilmember Nick SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the February 2012 Checks. Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve February 2012 Checks No. 10042 through No. 10049 in the amount of $10,030.84. Councilmember Joplin SECONDED.

Motion Carried.

Executive Session

Mayor Colinas adjourned to Executive Session pursuit to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) to discuss the FOP contract proposal for approximately 15 minutes at 7:23:19 PM. Mayor Colinas reconvened the meeting at 7:44:03 PM.
