Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00:33 PM and the flag salute was dispensed with.

STAFF:                                       Clerk-Treasurer Swisher.

Public Requests & Oral Communications: None.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Kaemingk attended the Police negotiations mediation on June 14th along with Councilmember Olson and Mayor Colinas.

Councilmember Nick attended the June 13^th Parks Board meeting.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of June 12, 2012. Councilmember Gallagher made a MOTION to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of June 12, 2012. Councilmember Olson SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Workshop Minutes of June 19, 2012. Councilmember Nick made a MOTION to approve Brier City Council Workshop Minutes of June 19, 2012. Councilmember Steele SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Ordinances, Resolutions & Orders:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration a decision regarding Resolution No. 535, adopting the Six-Year Street Plan. Councilmember Krienke made a MOTION to approve Resolution No. 535, adopting the Six-Year Street Plan. Councilmember Olson SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:

Councilmember Gallagher made a MOTION to authorize the Mayor’s signature on the amended professional services contract for the Dawson’s Place agreement. Councilmember Joplin SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas attended the Regional Fire Authority (RFA) Communications meeting and all the jurisdictions were asked to poll their Councils or Boards as to what they would like to see out of the formation of the RFA. There was Council discussion.

Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to cancel the July 3^rd workshop meeting. Councilmember Gallagher SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Councilmember Nick asked about the direction that we are going with the A-boards for the Park Board events.

Councilmember Steele asked how the limiting of Public Defender caseloads will affect our city. In addition she asked if the dog leash and pooper scooper signs have been installed yet.
