Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00:11 PM  and the flag salute was dispensed.

Roll Call:                 

PRESENT:                                  Mayor Colinas; Councilmember Kaemingk, Steele, Gallagher, Olson, Nick and Joplin.          Councilmember Krienke arrived at 7:03:33 PM

Public Requests & Oral Communications:

Al Ross- 3309 214^th ST SW-expressed his concerns with construction project issues on the new development on 214^th.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Mayor Colinas passed out a letter from an anonymous person about fireworks.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of June 26, 2012. Councilmember Nick made a MOTION to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of June 26, 2012.  Councilmember Olson SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:

Mayor Colinas asked Councilmember Krienke and Councilmember Kaemingk if we would have enough information from the RFA for a discussion at the next City Council Workshop.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration to cancel the next City Council Workshop Meeting next Tuesday, July 17^th. Councilmember Olson made a MOTION to cancel the City Council Workshop Meeting next Tuesday, July 17^th. Councilmember Gallagher SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Councilmember Nick will be attending the next Park Board meeting and asked about the Locust Creek Park Project. Councilmember Steele asked if the Council could be shown a list of the new neighborhood business licenses as they are approved administratively. Councilmember Gallagher asked for an update on the Allview Annexation.

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the June 2012 Payroll Checks. Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve the June 2012 Payroll Checks No. 18456 through No. 18471 and Checks No. 18523 through No. 18560 in the amount of $124,154.05 with Checks No. 18472 through No. 18522 and Checks No. 18561 through No. 18564 being voided. Councilmember Nick SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the June 2012 Claim Checks.  Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve the 2012 Claim Checks No. 23013 through No. 23062 in the amount of $300,210.26 with Check No. 23020 being voided. Councilmember Krienke SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the June 2012 Checks. Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve the June 2012 Checks No. 10071 through No. 10078 in the amount of $8,174.82. Councilmember Olson SECONDED

Motion Carried.
