Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00:10 PM  and the flag salute was given.

Roll Call:                 

PRESENT:                Mayor Colinas, Councilmember Kaemingk, Steele, Gallagher, Joplin, Krienke and Nick.

ABSENT:                  Councilmember Olson.

Public Requests & Oral Communications: None.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Joplin reported that he was sworn in to the Snohomish County Board of Health and will be serving on their policy committee as well.

Councilmember Gallagher reported his attendance at the January 9^th Library Board meeting.

Councilmember Kaemingk attended the RFA Finance meeting on January 16^th.

Councilmember Nick attended the January 9^th Parks Board meeting.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of January 8, 2013. Councilmember Steele MOVED to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of January 8, 2013. Councilmember Nick SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Workshop Minutes of January 15, 2013. Councilmember Gallagher MOVED to approve Brier City Council Workshop Minutes of January 15, 2013. Councilmember Joplin SECONDED.  Motion Carried.

New Business, Petitions, Communications, Applications & Appeals:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration the appointment of representatives to the SNOCOM Board, ESCA Board and SERS Board. Councilmember Nick MOVED to continue the appointments of Mayor Colinas as the representative to the SNOCOM Board with the alternate Chief Lane;  re-appointment of Councilmember Steele to the ESCA Board with the alternate Chief Lane and Mayor Colinas re-appointed as representative to the SERS Board with the alternate Chief Lane. Councilmember Gallagher SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Contract for YOURSITEMANAGER.COM with Ken Overstreet. Councilmember Kaemingk MOVED to approve the Contract for YOURSITEMANAGER.COM with Ken Overstreet. Councilmember Steele SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Ordinances, Resolutions & Orders:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration of Resolution 538 to continue in the Regional Fire Authority. Councilmember Kaemingk MOVED to approve Resolution 538 to continue in the Regional Fire Authority. Councilmember Gallagher SECONDED. There was Council discussion. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:

Mayor Colinas read the announcement of the 2013 Annual Comprehensive Plan update suggestions will be accepted thru March 29, 2013.
