Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00:11 PM  and the flag salute was dispensed with.

PRESENT:                                  Mayor Colinas; Councilmember Kaemingk, Krienke, Steele, Gallagher, Olson, Nick and Joplin.

STAFF:                                       Clerk-Treasurer Swisher.

Public Requests & Oral Communications: None.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Nick, June 12^th attended the Parks Board meeting along with Mayor Colinas and Councilmember Krienke.

Councilmember Steele has an ESCA meeting this Thursday, June 27^th.

Councilmember Joplin is on standby for a Health District Board meeting this Thursday, June 27^th.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of June 11, 2013. Councilmember Gallagher made a MOTION to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of June 11, 2013. Councilmember Steele SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:

Councilmember Gallagher made a MOTION to cancel the July 2, 2013 workshop meeting. Councilmember Nick SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Councilmember Steele was walking down Old Poplar this weekend and there is a bank that she thinks might belong to the city that is overgrown and in need of maintenance and there are street trees that are dead and should be removed.

Executive Session Pursuit to RCW 42.30.110(1)(b) to Discuss Property Acquisition for Parks:

Mayor Colinas announced that Council would adjourn to executive session at 7:03:55 PM for approximately 30 minutes pursuit to RCW 42.30.1110(1)(b) to discuss property acquisition. Mayor Colinas returned to the table at 7:28:07 PM to announce that Council will need to extend the executive session an additional 15 minutes to approximately 7:45PM. 7:42:25 PM Council returned from Executive session.
