BRIER CITY COUNCIL MINUTES
June 24, 2014
Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council
Meeting to order at 7:00:14 PM and
the flag salute was given.
Roll Call:
PRESENT: Mayor Colinas;
Councilmember Kaemingk, Steele, Gallagher, Olson, Nick and Joplin.
ABSENT: Councilmember
Krienke.
Public
Requests & Oral Communications: None.
Reports of
Committees & City Officials:
Councilmember Kaemingk attended the Planning
Commission meeting on June 18, 2014.
Councilmember Steele attended a meeting on June 10th
with the ESCA insurer, the ESCA board meeting on June 12th, on June
16th a meeting with the ESCA board vice-chair and the insurer, ESCA
board meeting on June 19th and June 24th.
Councilmember Nick attended the June 11th
Park Board meeting.
Approval
of Minutes:
Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City
Council Minutes of June 10, 2014. Councilmember Nick
made a MOTION to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of June
10, 2014. Councilmember Olson SECONDED.
Motion Carried.
Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City
Council Workshop Minutes of June 17, 2014. Councilmember
Gallagher made a MOTION to approve Brier City Council Workshop
Minutes of June 17, 2014. Councilmember Steele SECONDED.
Motion Carried.
Consent
Agenda:
Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of
the consent agenda with the purchase of Software/Equipment upgrade with Geoline, Inc. under Washington State Contract #07812, for
the upgrade of the city’s mapping system in the amount not to exceed $7,600,
including WSST and authorization of the consultants’ proposal with Berk Consulting to provide Parks Service study in the
amount not to exceed $9,000.
Councilmember Joplin made a MOTION to approve the
consent agenda as listed. Councilmember Gallagher SECONDED. Motion Carried.
Miscellaneous
Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:
Councilmember Kaemingk made a MOTION to cancel the
Brier City Council Workshop meeting of July 1, 2014. Councilmember Steele SECONDED.
Motion Carried.
Adjournment:
Councilmember
Kaemingk made a MOTION to adjourn. Councilmember
Olson SECONDED. Mayor Colinas declared the meeting adjourned at 7:08:33 PM.
