Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00:13 PM  and the flag salute was dispensed.

ABSENT:                                    Councilmember Joplin and Kaemingk.

Public Requests & Oral Communications: None

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Nick attended the Park Board meeting on April 8^th.

Councilmember Steele attended the ESCA meeting on April 10^th and reviewed claims on April 11^th.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of March 24, 2015. Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of March 24, 2015. Councilmember Nick SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Consent Agenda:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of tree removals with Seattle Tree Service in the City right-of-way not to exceed $3,000. Councilmember Nick made a MOTION to approve the tree removals with Seattle Tree Service in the City right-of-way not to exceed $3,000. Councilmember Gallagher SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Ordinances, Resolutions & Orders

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration of Ordinance No. 415.A, amending the 2014 budget. Councilmember Gallagher made a MOTION to approve Ordinance No. 415.A, amending the 2014 budget. Councilmember Steele SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials

Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to make an amendment to the contract for the lease agreement with ESCA. The contract would renew on May 1, 2015 on a day to day basis with either party to terminate given a 30 day notice. Councilmember Gallagher SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration cancellation of the April 21^st, 2015 Workshop meeting. Councilmember Gallagher made a MOTION to cancel the Workshop meeting on April 21^st, 2015. Councilmember Nick SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas shared a draft copy of the most recent newsletter with the Council and stated the Feet First organization will be scheduling some future walks around the neighborhood.

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the March 2015 Payroll Checks. Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve the March 2015 Payroll Checks No. 28397 through No. 28414 and No. 28465 through No. 28488 and 28490 in the amount of $116,789.07 and voided Check No. 28517. Councilmember Nick SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the March 2015 Claim Checks.  Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve the March 2015 Claim Checks No. 28489 and No. 28521 through No. 28592 in the amount of $436,231.70 and voided Check No. 28352. Councilmember Gallagher SECONDED. Motion Carried.
