Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00:06 PM  and the flag salute was given.

Roll Call:

PRESENT:                                  Mayor Colinas; Councilmember Gallagher, Kaemingk, Nick, Olson and Steele. Councilmember Krienke arrived at 7:02 PM.

ABSENT:                                    Councilmember Joplin.

Public Requests & Oral Communications:

Mayor Colinas introduced Board Members Kory Demun and Ann McMurray from Edmonds School District to provide a report on how the district is doing.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Kaemingk attended the Snohomish Cities meeting on September 17^th.

Mayor Colinas was asked to join the City of Lynnwood and Fire District #1 in a meeting to discuss a regional fire authority.

Councilmember Steele will attend the ESCA meeting this Thursday, September 24^th.

Councilmember Gallagher attended the Library Board meeting on September 9^th.

Councilmember Nick attended the Parks Board meeting on September 9^th.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of September 8, 2015. Councilmember Nick made a MOTION to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of September 8, 2015. Councilmember Gallagher SECONDED. Motion Carried.

New Business, Petitions, Communications, Application Appeals:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration the confirmation of the Mayor’s appointment of Bob Thorpe to Planning Commission Position No. 5 with a term expiring on January 31, 2016. Councilmember Kaemingk made a MOTION to approve the Mayor’s appointment of Bob Thorpe to Planning Commission Position No. 5 with a term expiring on January 31, 2016. Councilmember Steele SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration the release of Assignment of Funds for Mark McCloud, 22628 23^rd Pl W, in the amount of $3,000. Councilmember Gallagher made a MOTION to approve the release of Assignment of Funds for Mark McCloud, 22628 23^rd Pl W, in the amount of $3,000. Councilmember Olson SECONDED. Motion Carried.
