December 22, 2015
Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council
Meeting to order at 7:00:29 PM.
Roll Call:
PRESENT: Mayor Colinas;
Councilmember Gallagher, Joplin, Krienke, Nick, Olson and Steele.
Councilmember
Kaemingk arrived at 7:03pm.

Clerk-Treasurer Swisher.

Councilmember Steele reported that ESCA is
officially closed.
Approval
of Minutes:
Mayor Colinas
opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of December
8, 2015 and the Brier City Council Workshop minutes of December 15, 2015.
Councilmember
Nick made a MOTION to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of December 8, 2015. Councilmember Steele SECONDED. Motion Carried.
Councilmember
Gallagher made a MOTION to approve the Brier City Council Workshop minutes of December
15, 2015. Councilmember Joplin SECONDED.

Consent
Agenda:
Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the consent agenda
which includes approval of the Agreement for legal services with Inslee Best,
approval of the Transportation Improvement Board Agreement and approval of the
2016 Department of Corrections Labor Agreement. Councilmember
Steele made a MOTION to approve the consent agenda which includes
approval of the Agreement for legal services with Inslee Best, approval of the
Transportation Improvement Board Agreement and approval of the 2016 Department
of Corrections Labor Agreement. Councilmember Krienke
SECONDED. Motion Carried
Ordinances,
Resolutions & Orders
Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of Ordinance No. 420.A
amending the 2015 Operating Budget, Fund #200 Library Debt Service. Councilmember Gallagher made a MOTION to approve
Ordinance No. 420.A, amending the 2015 Operating Budget.
Councilmember Nick SECONDED. Motion Carried.
Miscellaneous
Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials
Mayor Colinas reported that he met with the
Librarian last week to discuss painting the interior of the library and adding
signage to the outside of the building. He commented that the Police Department
will be fully staffed as of the end of this month.
Councilmember Nick commented that he was happy to
see the email from the citizen complimenting the great job that public works
did cleaning up the tree that fell across 228th last weekend.

Kaemingk SECONDED. Mayor Colinas declared the meeting adjourned
at 7:08:15 PM.
