BRIER CITY COUNCIL MINUTES
March 22, 2016
Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council
Meeting to order at 7:00:13 PM.
Roll Call:
PRESENT: Mayor Colinas;
Councilmember Gallagher, Joplin, Kaemingk, Nick and Steele. Councilmember
Krienke arrived at 7:02 PM.
ABSENT: Councilmember
Olson.
STAFF: City
Planner Gaudette.
Public
Requests & Oral Communications: None.
Reports of
Committees & City Officials:
Councilmember Nick reported that the Parks Board
met on March 9th to plan everything out for the Annual Egg Hunt this
coming Saturday.
Councilmember Steele watched the training video for
the OPMA.
Councilmember Joplin reported that hopefully next
month his appointment to the County audit committee will be finalized.
Approval
of Minutes:
Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City
Council Minutes of March 8, 2016. Councilmember Nick
made a MOTION to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of March
8, 2016. Councilmember Gallagher SECONDED.
Motion Carried.
Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City
Council Workshop Minutes of March 15, 2016. Councilmember
Steele made a MOTION to approve the Brier City Council Workshop
Minutes of March 15, 2016. Councilmember Kaemingk SECONDED.
Motion Carried.

Business, Petitions, Communications, Application Appeals:
Mayor Colinas opened for consideration of Conditional Use Permit CU16-01
by Claire McClenny and the Estate of Lindsay McClenny, Located at 3607 214th. City Planner
Gaudette gave a brief overview. Councilmember
Gallagher made a MOTION to approve Conditional Use Permit CU16-01
by Claire McClenny and the Estate of Lindsay McClenny, Located at 3607 214th. Councilmember Joplin SECONDED. Motion
Carried.
Miscellaneous
Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:
Councilmember Gallagher made a MOTION to cancel the
Brier City Council Workshop Meeting of April 5, 2016 unless the Mayor deems it
necessary to hold the meeting. Councilmember Steele SECONDED. Motion
Carried.
Adjournment

declared the meeting adjourned at 7:18:09 PM.
