Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00:33 PM.

Roll Call:

PRESENT:                                  Mayor Colinas; Councilmember Gallagher, Joplin, Kaemingk, Krienke, Nick, Olson and Steele.

Public Requests & Oral Communications: None.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Steele reviewed the claim checks on April 9, 2016. She complimented the paint job at the library.

Councilmember Joplin received his letter from the Snohomish County performance audit committee.

Councilmember Nick reported he will attend the Park Board meeting tomorrow evening April 13, 2016.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of March 22, 2016. Councilmember Gallagher made a MOTION to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of March 22, 2016. Councilmember Nick SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials

Mayor Colinas reported that the final approval for the Fisken Plat should be in front of the Council in two weeks and then he will move forward to hold a public meeting to get input for a master plan for the park area that combine the Wynbrook II and Fisken Plats.

Councilmember Steele asked what our thoughts are regarding the email from Peggy Dare.

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the March 2016 Payroll Checks. Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve the March 2016 Payroll Checks No. 29843 through No. 29859 and No. 29912 through No. 29942 and No. 29951 through No. 29969 in the amount of $202,597.70 . Councilmember Gallagher SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the March 2016 Claim Checks.  Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve the March 2016 Claim Checks No. 29943 through No. 29950 and No. 29970 through No. 30036 in the amount of $445,352.06. Councilmember Joplin SECONDED. Motion Carried.
