Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00:03 PM  and the flag salute was given.

Roll Call:

PRESENT:                                  Mayor Colinas; Councilmember Gallagher, Joplin, Kaemingk, Krienke, Nick and Steele.

ABSENT:                                    Councilmember Olson.

Public Requests & Oral Communications: None.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Gallagher said it was a nice open house for the park master plan meeting on July 6^th.

Councilmember Steele reviewed the claim checks on July 9^th.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of June 28, 2016. Councilmember Nick made a MOTION to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of June 28, 2016. Councilmember Krienke SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials

Councilmember Steele reported that Vine Road has become very busy with traffic going very fast especially with Locust Way being closed and she has had a lot of neighbors in that area express concerns to her.

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the June 2016 Payroll Checks. Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve the June 2016 Payroll Checks No. 30208 through No. 30227 and No. 30303 through No. 30338 in the amount of $148,080.82 and Void Check No. 30351. Councilmember Gallagher SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the June 2016 Claim Checks.  Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve the June 2016 Claim Checks No. 30336, 30339 and No. 30360 through No. 30408 in the amount of $98,419.28. Councilmember Nick SECONDED. Motion Carried.
