Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00:14 PM.

Roll Call:

PRESENT:                                  Mayor Colinas; Councilmember Gallagher, Kaemingk, Krienke, Nick, Olson and Steele.

ABSENT:                                    Councilmember Joplin.

Public Requests & Oral Communications: None.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Kaemingk attended the police negotiation meeting on September 26, 2016 along with Councilmember Olson and Mayor Colinas.

Councilmember Nick attended the September 14, 2016 Park Board meeting.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of September 13, 2016. Councilmember Gallagher made a MOTION to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of September 13, 2016. Councilmember Nick SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Workshop Minutes of September 20, 2016. Councilmember Gallagher made a MOTION to approve the Brier City Council Workshop Minutes of September 20, 2016. Councilmember Steele SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Consent Agenda:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration of the Mayor’s re-appointment of Karla Wood to the Park Board. Councilmember Nick made a MOTION to approve the Mayor’s re-appointment of Karla Wood to the Park Board. Councilmember Olson SECONDED. Motion Carried.

New Business, Petitions, Communications, Application Appeals:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration of the Park Board’s recommendation to adopt the Mountain View Park Master Plan. Councilmember Nick gave a brief overview of the discussion by the Park Board.  Councilmember Nick made a MOTION to approve the Park Board’s recommendation to adopt the Mountain View Park Master Plan. Councilmember Gallagher SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials

Councilmember Gallagher asked if we will be discussing the budget next week.

Councilmember Steele will be absent next week.
