Councilmember Steele reviewed checks February 11^th.

Councilmember Krienke participated in the planner interview on February 8^th.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of January 24, 2017. Councilmember Nick made a MOTION to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of January 24, 2017. Councilmember Gallagher SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Workshop Minutes of February 7, 2017. Councilmember Gallagher made a MOTION to approve the Brier City Council Workshop Minutes of February 7, 2017. Councilmember Steele SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Consent Agenda:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration to authorize an extension of Employment Contract for the City Planner position. Councilmember Joplin made a MOTION to approve an extension of Employment Contract for the City Planner position. Councilmember Kaemingk SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Ordinances, Resolutions & Orders

Mayor Colinas opened consideration for approval of Resolution No. 562, adopting the updated Snohomish County Hazard Mitigation Plan. Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve Resolution No. 562, adopting the updated Snohomish County Hazard Mitigation Plan. Councilmember Gallagher SECONDED. Motion carried.

Mayor Colinas opened consideration for approval of Resolution No. 563, amending the Fee Schedule for 2017. Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve Resolution No. 563, amending the Fee Schedule for 2017. Councilmember Krienke SECONDED.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials

Mayor Colinas stated that he will be bringing some selections for playground equipment for Mountain View Park to the Parks Board to consider. We will work to have a public meeting later this spring regarding Hickory Way Park.

Mayor Colinas gave notice that the City officially is accepting Comprehensive Plan amendments up to March 31, 2017.

Councilmember Gallagher made a MOTION to cancel the Brier City Council Workshop meeting of February 21, 2017. Councilmember Olson SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Councilmember Joplin asked about any long range plans for Vine Road.

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the January 2017 Payroll Checks. Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve the January 2017 Payroll Checks No. 31070 through No. 31087 and No. 31156 through No. 31188 in the amount of $141,808.39. Councilmember Nick SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the January 2017 Claim Checks.  Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve the January 2017 Claim Checks No. 31215 through No. 31288 in the amount of $201,783.01. Councilmember Gallagher SECONDED. Motion Carried.
