Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00:11 PM.

Roll Call:

PRESENT:
Mayor Colinas; Councilmember Gallagher, Krienke, Nick, Steele and Thorpe.

ABSENT:
Councilmember Joplin and Kaemingk.

STAFF:
City Clerk-Treasurer Swisher.

Public Requests & Oral Communications:

ML DeMorret stated great party for the egg hunt.

Reports of Committees & City Officials: None.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of April 11, 2017. Councilmember Nick made a MOTION to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of April 11, 2017. Councilmember Steele SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Workshop Minutes of April 18, 2017. Councilmember Gallagher made a MOTION to approve the Brier City Council Workshop Minutes of April 18, 2017. Councilmember Thorpe SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Consent Agenda:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the consent agenda. Councilmember Steele made a MOTION to approve the contract for managed IT Services with Simon-Murray. Councilmember Krienke SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Councilmember Krienke made a MOTION to approve the agreement for tree removal with Seattle Tree Service in an amount not to exceed $3,000. Councilmember Steele SECONDED. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials

Mayor Colinas mentioned that in response to the citizen that made a complaint about a month ago in regard to speeding in the Skyview Hills area and the counter showed that there is not speeding on that roadway, actually the opposite was found.

Councilmember Nick stated that the egg hunt was a huge success again and he thanked the council members and volunteers that were there and helped.
