Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00 PM and the flag salute was given.

Roll Call:

Present: Mayor Colinas, Councilmembers Gallagher, Joplin, Nick, Steele and Thorpe.

Absent: Councilmember Kaemingk and Krienke.

Public Requests & Oral Communications:

Rich Troberg, Brier, brought in some materials for our history book and gave an overview of how Brier came to be.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Nick attended the Parks Board meeting on June 14^th and they discussed the music in the park event scheduled for July 19^th.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of June 13, 2017. Motion: to approve the Brier City Council Minutes of June 13, 2017.  Moved by Councilmember Gallagher and Seconded by Councilmember Nick. There was Council discussion. Motion Carried.

New Business, Petitions, Communications, Application Appeals:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration the Personal Service Agreement with Jennifer Flathman for the City Planner position. Motion: to approve the Personal Service Agreement with Jennifer Flathman for the City Planner position. Moved by Councilmember Steele Seconded by Councilmember Thorpe. There was Council discussion. Motion Carried.
