Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:01 PM.

Roll Call:

Present: Mayor Colinas, Councilmember Gallagher, Joplin, Kaemingk, Krienke, Nick, Steele and Thorpe.

Staff: Clerk-Treasurer Swisher and Planner Flathman.

Public Requests & Oral Communications: None.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Mayor Colinas turned the discussion over to Planner Flathman to discuss the draft changes to the tree regulations. There was Council discussion.

Councilmember Steele reviewed the claim checks over the weekend.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of February 13, 2018. Motion: Approve the Brier City Council Minutes of February 13, 2018. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Nick. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:

Mayor Colinas asked if the Council would like to cancel next week's workshop meeting. Motion: Cancel the workshop meeting of March 6, 2018. Moved by Councilmember Gallagher, Seconded by Councilmember Nick. Motion Carried.

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the February 2018 Payroll Checks. Motion: Approve the February 2018 Payroll Checks No. 32738 through No. 32739, No. 32789 through No. 32802 and No. 32833 through No. 32834 and EFTs in the amount of $188,584.70. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Joplin. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the February 2018 Claim Checks.Motion: Approve the February 2018 Claim Checks No. 32787 through No. 32788 and No. 32803 through No. 32828 in the amount of $93,222.96. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Nick. Motion Carried.
