Mayor Pro-Tem Kaemingk called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00 PM and the flag salute was given.

Present: Councilmember Gallagher, Joplin, Kaemingk, Krienke, Nick, Steele, Thorpe.

Absent: Mayor Colinas

Staff:Deputy Clerk-Treasurer Snowden

Public Requests & Oral Communications: Fire Marshal Kevin Zweber from Fire District #1 is visiting different cities in the county introducing himself and answering questions councilmembers may have.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Nick will be attending the Library Board meeting tomorrow March 14^th.

Councilmember Thorpe will be attending the Parks Board meeting tomorrow March 14^th.

Councilmember Steele reviewed claim checks over the past weekend.

Approval of Minutes:

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Pro-Tem Kaemingk opened for consideration approval of the February 2018 Payroll Checks. Motion: Approve the February 2018 Payroll Checks No. 32728 through No. 32739, No. 32789 through No. 32802 and No. 32833 through No. 32834 and EFT Transactions in the amount of $188,584.70. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Gallagher. Motion Carried.

Mayor Pro-Tem Kaemingk opened for consideration approval of the February 2018 Claim Checks. Motion: Approve the February 2018 Claim Checks No. 32829 through No. 32872 in the amount of $124,662.62. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Joplin. Motion Carried.
