Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:01 PM and dispensed with the flag salute.

Roll Call:

Present: Mayor Colinas, Councilmembers Gallagher, Joplin, Kaemingk, Krienke, Nick, Steele, and Thorpe.

Public Requests & Oral Communications:

Mayor Colinas opened the presentation of the check for the ADA Ramp Upgrade Grant by Snohomish County Council Vice-Chair Terry Ryan. Mr. Ryan gave a brief presentation and presented the Council with the check. Mayor Colinas called for a 5 minutes recess at 7:06pm for photos to be taken. Meeting resumed at 7:15pm.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Steele reviewed claims on May 19^th.

Councilmember Gallagher attended the Planning Commission Meeting on May 16^th.

Councilmember Nick attended the Library Board Meeting May 9^th.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of May 8, 2018. Motion: Approve the Brier City Council Minutes of May 8, 2018. Moved by Councilmember Nick, Seconded by Councilmember Gallagher.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Workshop Minutes of May 15, 2018. Motion: Approve the Brier City Council Workshop Minutes of May 15, 2018. Moved by Councilmember Gallagher, Seconded by Councilmember Joplin. Motion Carried.

Consent Agenda:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Interlocal Agreement with Snohomish County for the ADA Ramp Upgrade Grant. Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration cancellation of the City of Brier Workshop Meeting on June 5, 2018. Motion: To cancel the City of Brier Workshop Meeting on June 5, 2018. Moved by Councilmember Gallagher, Seconded by Councilmember Nick. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas discussed with the Council that the Snohomish County overlay program for Poplar Way/North Brier will conduct a full grind starting June 7^th.

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the May 2018 Claim Checks. Motion: Approve the May 2018 Claim Checks No. 33039 through No. 33085 in the amount of $368,879.09. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Thorpe. Motion Carried.
