Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00 PM.

Roll Call:

Present: Mayor Colinas, Councilmember Gallagher, Joplin, Kaemingk, Krienke, Nick,Steele, Thorpe.

Staff: Clerk-Treasurer Swisher.

Motion: Approve moving the Auditing of Accounts portion of the agenda to be handled first as Councilmember Steele does not feel well. Moved by Councilmember Nick, Seconded by Councilmember Thorpe. Motion Carried.

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the May 2018 Payroll Checks. Motion: Approve the May 2018 Payroll Check No. 33038, Checks No. 33086 through No. 33098 and EFTs in the amount of $134,656.29. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Joplin. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the May 2018 Claim Checks. Motion: Approve the May 2018 Claim Checks No. 33099 through No. 33128 in the amount of $73,889.95. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Nick. Motion Carried.

Public Requests & Oral Communications: None.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Steele reviewed claim checks and expressed her appreciation that Deputy Clerk Snowden was able to have them ready for her early.

Councilmember Steele left the meeting early as she was not feeling well at 7:04 PM.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of May 22, 2018. Motion: Approve the Brier City Council Minutes of May 22, 2018. Moved by Councilmember Nick, Seconded by Councilmember Gallagher.  Motion Carried.

Consent Agenda:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the scope of services with Pace Engineering for Oak Way curb ramp ADA upgrade with fees of $16,500.00.

Motion: Approve the scope of services with Pace Engineering for Oak Way curb ramp ADA upgrade. Moved by Councilmember Krienke, Seconded by Councilmember Kaemingk. Motion Carried.

Consideration of BIDS, L.ID.S. & Related Matters:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the roadway striping by Snohomish County in an amount not to exceed $15,000. Motion: Approve the roadway striping by Snohomish County in an amount not to exceed $15,000. Moved by Councilmember Nick, Seconded by Councilmember Krienke. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration to cancel the Brier City Council Workshop Meeting of June 19^th. Motion: Approve the cancellation of the Brier City Council Workshop Meeting of June 19^th. Moved by Councilmember Gallagher, Seconded by Councilmember Joplin. Motion Carried.
