Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00 PM.

Roll Call:

Present: Mayor Colinas, Councilmembers Gallagher, Joplin, Kaemingk, Krienke, Nick, Steele and Thorpe.

Staff: Clerk-Treasurer Swisher.

Councilmember Steele reviewed the claim checks on Saturday, September 8, 2018.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of August 28, 2018. Motion: Approve the Brier City Council Minutes of August 28, 2018. Moved by Councilmember Nick, Seconded by Councilmember Gallagher. Motion Carried.

Consent Agenda:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Consent Agenda which includes, approval of the authorization of the Mayor's signature on the License Agreement with Snohomish County DEM for facility usage and on the 231^st St Developer Extension Agreement. Motion: Authorize the Mayor's signature on the License Agreement with Snohomish County DEM for facility usage and on the 231^st St Developer Extension Agreement. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Kaemingk. Motion Carried.

Ordinance, Resolutions & Orders:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of Resolution No. 571 supporting Snohomish County in acquiring funding for the Emergency Radio Replacements. There was Council discussion. Motion: Approve Resolution No. 571 supporting Snohomish County in acquiring funding for the Emergency Radio Replacements with the revision of removing the words fairly and equitably and replacing them with specifically. Moved by Councilmember Krienke, Seconded by Councilmember Gallagher. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:

Mayor Colinas asked if the Council would like to cancel the workshop meeting of September 18, 2018. Motion: Cancel the September 18, 2018 Council Workshop meeting. Moved by Councilmember Gallagher, Seconded by Councilmember Steele. Motion Carried.

Councilmember Gallagher thanked the City for continuing to keep the horse arena in working order.

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the August 2018 Payroll Checks. 7:33 PM Motion: Approve the August 2018 Payroll Checks No. 33381 through No. 33383 and No. 33414 through No. 33427 and ACH payments in the amount of $131,874.94 and voided Check No. 33426. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Thorpe. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the August 2018 Claim Checks. 7:34 PM Motion: Approve the August 2018 Claim Checks No. 33428 through No. 33458 in the amount of $315,708.48. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Gallagher. Motion Carried.
