Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:01 PM.

Roll Call:

Present: Mayor Colinas, Councilmembers Gallagher, Joplin, Krienke, Nick, Steele and Thorpe.

Absent: Councilmember Kaemingk.

Public Requests & Oral Communications: None.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Gallagher attended the Planning Commission on September 19^th.

Councilmember Nick attended the Library Board meeting on September 12^th.

Councilmember Steele reviewed the claim checks over the weekend.

Councilmember Thorpe attended the Parks Board meeting on September 12th and asked about a status update on the ADA table in Brierwood Park, park benches, infant swings and tennis court maintenance.

Mayor Colinas reported that he meet with a landscape architect to discuss the creation of the Hickory Park master plan.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of September 11, 2018. 7:11 PM Motion: Approve the Brier City Council Minutes of September 11, 2018.Moved by Councilmember Nick, Seconded by Councilmember Gallagher. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:

Councilmember Steele asked if the Park Board was asking for a bench in Brierwood Park.

Councilmember Krienke will not be in attendance next week.

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the September 2018 Claim Checks.7:20 PM Motion: Approve the September 2018 Claim Checks No. 33462 through No. 33464, No. 33466 through No. 33505 in the amount of $443,160.70 and voided Check No. 33465. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Gallagher. Motion Carried.
