BRIER CITY COUNCIL MINUTES
February 12, 2019
Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council
Meeting to order at 7:01 PM and the flag salute was given.
Roll Call:
Present: Mayor
Colinas, Councilmembers Gallagher, Joplin, Kaemingk, Krienke and Nick.
Councilmember Thorpe arrived at 7:04PM.
Absent: Councilmember Steele.
Public

Mayor Colinas reported on the snow removal efforts
and what a great job the crew has been doing to respond to the issues.
Approval
of Minutes:

opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of January
22, 2019. Motion: Approve the Brier City Council Minutes of January

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration of the
Mayor's re-appointment of Rebekah Weston to the Planning Commission Position
No. 2, with a term to expire January 31, 2021. Motion:
Approve the Mayor's re-appointment of Rebekah Weston to the Planning Commission
Position No. 2, with a term to expire January 31, 2021. Moved by Councilmember Kaemingk, Seconded by Councilmember Joplin. Motion Carried.
Mayor Colinas opened for consideration of the
Mayor's re-appointment of Karl Roman to the Planning Commission Position No. 1,
with a term to expire January 31, 2021. Motion:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration the
authorization to process the Sewer Foreclosure list dated February 2019. Motion:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration of the
Interlocal Agreement with Snohomish Conservation District for Stormwater
Education. Motion: Approve the

Miscellaneous
Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:
Councilmember Kaemingk who was voted in as Mayor
Pro-Tem stated that since he didn't get any responses about any changes to the
council liaison positions and he will maintain the list as it exists currently.

of Accounts:
Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the January 2019
Payroll Checks. Motion: Approve the January 2019
Payroll Checks No. 40321 and 40322, Checks No. 40348 through No. 40356 and EFTs
in the amount of $136,075.27.Moved
by Councilmember Kaemingk, Seconded
by Councilmember Nick. Motion Carried.
Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the January 2019
Claim Checks.Motion: Approve the January 2019
Claim Checks No. 40406 through No. 40457 in the amount of $205,822.73 and
voided Check No. 40190.Moved
