Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:02 PM and the flag salute was given.

Roll Call:

Present: Mayor Colinas, Councilmembers Gallagher, Joplin, Kaemingk, Krienke, Nick, Steele and Thorpe.

Staff: Clerk-Treasurer Swisher.

Public Requests & Oral Communications: None.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Steele reviewed checks twice and attend the audit exit conference.

Councilmembers Kaemingk and Joplin attend the audit exit conference as well.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of February 12, 2019. Motion: Approve the Brier City Council Minutes of February 12, 2019. Moved by Councilmember Nick, Seconded by Councilmember Gallagher. Motion Carried.

Consent Agenda:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the consent agenda which includes purchase of the Cues Camera System for an amount not to exceed $39,300 plus tax and approval of the fence construction in the Wynbrook II trail easement. Motion: Approve the consent agenda as stated. Moved by Councilmember Krienke, Seconded by Councilmember Joplin. Motion Carried.

Ordinances, Resolutions & Orders:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of Ordinance No. 458 amending Chapter 6.24 and 6.32, relating to Animal Control. Motion: Approve Ordinance No. 458 amending Chapter 6.24 and 6.32, relating to Animal Control.

Lisa Link, Brier, asked why this change has taken so long to be made because she lives next door to someone who has dogs that bark incessantly, she has been having to call the police officers to come out regularly to witness the problem and the officers could be doing something else. Moved by Councilmember Krienke, Seconded by Councilmember Steele. Motion Carried.
