Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:01 PM and the flag salute was given.

Roll Call:

Present: Mayor Colinas, Councilmembers Gallagher, Joplin, Kaemingk, Krienke, Nick, Steele and Thorpe.

Staff: Clerk-Treasurer Swisher.

Public Requests & Oral Communications: None.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Mayor Colinas opened for Rod Kaseguma and Dawn Reitan from the City attorney firm Inslee Best.

Councilmember Steele reviewed the claim checks on April 6^th.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of March 26, 2019. Motion: Approve the Brier City Council Minutes of March 26, 2019. Moved by Councilmember Nick, Seconded by Councilmember Gallagher. Motion Carried.

Unfinished Business:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration of the approval of the professional engineering scope of services with PACE Engineering for Brierwood Park Stormwater Impoundment Water Quality Improvements Project. Motion: Approve professional engineering scope of services with PACE Engineering for Brierwood Park Stormwater Impoundment Water Quality Improvements Project not to exceed $82,200.00. Moved by Councilmember Krienke, Seconded by Councilmember Thorpe. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:

Councilmember Steele asked about National Night Out and if we were going to reinstate it. She believes it is a loss to the City as a large community gathering.

Councilmember Nick will not be in attendance next week.

Councilmember Kaemingk will not be in attendance for 3 weeks.

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the March 2019 Payroll Checks. Motion: Approve the March 2019 Payroll Checks No. 40569 through No. 40574 and EFTs in the amount of $147,790.51. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Nick. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the October 2019 Claim Checks. Motion: Approve the March 2019 Claim Checks No. 40575 through No. 40616 in the amount of $370,599.12. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Joplin. Motion Carried.
