Mayor ProTem Kaemingk called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00 PM and the flag salute was given.

Roll Call:

Present: Mayor ProTem Kaemingk, Councilmembers Gallagher, Joplin, Krienke, Nick, Steele and Thorpe.

Absent: Mayor Colinas.

Staff: Clerk-Treasurer Swisher and Planner Flathman.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Steele reviewed checks on June 8^th and met with the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer Swisher regarding the Department of Revenue report on June 5^th.

Councilmember Kaemingk attended the meeting with the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer Swisher regarding the Department of Revenue report on June 5^th.

Councilmember Thorpe will attend the Parks Board meeting tomorrow night June 12^th.

Approval of Minutes:

Hearings:

Mayor ProTem Kaemingk opened consideration of the Home Occupation License No. BR19-047, Black Belt Audio by Levi Seitz located at 3102 232^nd St SW. Planner Flathman gave an overview of the application, conditions and recommended approval. The applicant Levi Seitz gave a brief description of his business. Mayor ProTem Kaemingk opened for consideration approval of the Department of Revenue report. Motion: Approve the Department of Revenue report and authorize the expenditure of $115,732.00. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Joplin. Motion Carried.

Mayor ProTem Kaemingk opened for consideration approval to release the Maintenance Bond for Hinrichs-Murphy Short Plat No. 16-01, in the amount of $37,516.00. Motion: Approve release of the Maintenance Bond for Hinrichs-Murphy Short Plat No. 16-01, in the amount of $37,516.00. Moved by Councilmember Nick, Seconded by Councilmember Gallagher. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:

Councilmember Thorpe asked if there will be updates to the Police Beat portion of our website or if we should remove this item.

Clerk-Treasurer Swisher stated there is currently no business for the workshop meeting of June 18, 2019. Motion: Cancel the June 18^th Council Workshop meeting. Moved by Councilmember Gallagher, Seconded by Councilmember Nick. Motion Carried.

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor ProTem Kaemingk opened for consideration approval of the May 2019 Payroll Checks. Motion: Approve the May 2019 Payroll Checks No. 40651, 40703, 40705, Checks No. 40707 through No. 40709 and EFT transactions in the amount of $141,851.91 and voided Checks No. 40704 and 40706. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Thorpe. Motion Carried.

Mayor ProTem Kaemingk opened for consideration approval of the May 2019 Claim Checks. Motion: Approve the May 2019 Claim Checks No. 40734, 40736, 40737, Checks No. 40739 through No. 40775 in the amount of $198,712.24 and voided Check No. 40735. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Gallagher. Motion Carried.
