Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:01 PM and the flag salute was given.

Roll Call:

Present: Mayor Colinas, Councilmembers Gallagher, Krienke, Nick, Steele and Thorpe.

Absent: Councilmember Joplin, Councilmember Kaemingk.

Staff: Clerk-Treasurer Swisher and Planner Flathman.

Public Requests & Oral Communications: None.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Steele reviewed the claim checks on June 21^st.

Councilmember Gallagher attended the Planning Commission meeting on June 19^th.

Councilmember Thorpe attended the Parks Board meeting on June 12^th. There were several requests, trimming of blackberries needed by the public works shop, Locust Creek Park trails some are impassable due to brush. Music in the park is scheduled for July 11^th.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of June 11, 2019. Motion: Approve the Brier City Council Minutes of June 11, 2019. Moved by Councilmember Nick, Seconded by Councilmember Gallagher. Motion Carried.

New Business, Petitions, Communications, Application Appeals:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of CU19-02, CU19-03 and CAR19-02 for the Miyata Secondary Dwelling Unit Conditional Use permit, Septic Conditional Use permit and Critical Areas Review located at 22301 Hickory Way. Planner Flathman gave an overview of the applications and recommended approval with conditions listed in the staff report. Motion: Approve CU19-02, CU19-03 and CAR19-02 for the Miyata Secondary Dwelling Unit Conditional Use permit, Septic Conditional Use permit and Critical Areas Review located at 22301 Hickory Way. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Thorpe. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of CU19-04, Floyd Septic Conditional Use permit located at 22815 27^th Ave W. Planner Flathman gave a brief overview of the application. Councilmember Gallagher stated that he lives within 300 feet of the applicant. Motion: Approve CU19-04, Floyd Septic Conditional Use permit located at 22815 27^th Ave W. Moved by Councilmember Krienke, Seconded by Councilmember Steele. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Release of Assignment of Funds for the Boseck SP15-002 Performance Bond in the amount of $17,904.00. Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the June 2019 Claim Checks. Motion: Approve the June 2019 Claim Checks No. 40776, Checks No. 40783 through No. 40814 and EFT transactions in the amount of $355,226.19. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Thorpe. Motion Carried.
