Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:01 PM and the flag salute was given.

Roll Call:

Present: Mayor Colinas, Councilmembers Gallagher, Joplin, Kaemingk, Krienke, Nick and Steele. Councilmember Thorpe arrived at 7:03 PM.

Staff: Clerk-Treasurer Swisher.

Public Requests & Oral Communications:

Mayor Colinas opened the floor for Snohomish County Councilman Terry Ryan's presentation of the $10,000 Historical Grant.

Mayor Colinas recessed to take a picture with Councilmember Ryan for 3 minutes at 7:07 PM. We returned from recess at 7:09 PM.

Barbara Gardner, Brier, requested to stop building in Brier and building the huge houses, we are killing the trees and the land is being destroyed.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Steele reviewed the claim checks over the weekend.

Councilmember Kaemingk met with the Police Chief on June 10^th.

Councilmember Thorpe met with the Police Chief on June 10^th.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of June 25, 2019. Motion: Approve the Brier City Council Minutes of June 25, 2019. Moved by Councilmember Nick, Seconded by Councilmember Gallagher. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:

Mayor Colinas stated there was no business for the July 16^th Council Workshop meeting. Motion: Cancel the July 16^th Council Workshop meeting Moved by Councilmember Gallagher, Seconded by Councilmember Kaemingk. Motion Carried.

Councilmember Gallagher will not be in attendance at the July 23^rd meeting.

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the June 2019 Payroll Checks. Motion: Approve the June 2019 Payroll Checks No. 40738, No. 40777 through No. 40782 and EFT transactions in the amount of $145,947.46. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Thorpe. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the June 2019 Claim Checks Motion: Approve the June 2019 Claim Checks No. 40815 through No. 40821, Checks No. 40823 through No. 40852 and EFT transactions in the amount of $147,877.01. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Joplin. Motion Carried.
