Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00 PM.

Present: Mayor Colinas, Councilmembers Gallagher, Joplin, Kaemingk, Krienke, Nick, Steele and Thorpe.

Staff: Clerk-Treasurer Swisher.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Steele reviewed checks on August 24^th.

Councilmember Kaemingk rode along with Officer Flowers on August 15^th.

Councilmember Gallagher attended the Planning Commission meeting on August 20^th.

Approval of Minutes:

Hearings:

Mayor Colinas opened the Public Hearing on Ordinance No. 459 at 7:05 PM, amending the rates charged for Stormwater Service. No public was present. Public Hearing was closed at 7:06 PM.

Mayor Colinas opened the Public Hearing on Ordinance No. 460 at 7:07 PM, amending the rates charged for Sewer Service. No public was present. Public Hearing was closed at 7:08 PM.

Mayor Colinas opened the Public Hearing on Resolution No. 577 at 7:09 PM, adopting the six-year Comprehensive Street Program for 2020-2025. No public was present. Public Hearing was closed at 7:10 PM.

Councilmember Thorpe asked if we had an Emergency Preparedness Plan for the City of Brier.

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the August 2019 Claim Checks. Motion: Approve the August 2019 Claim Checks No. 40935 through No. 40957 and EFT transactions in the amount of $147,276.98 and voided Check No. 40923. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Joplin. Motion Carried.
