Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00 PM and the flag salute was given.

Present: Mayor Colinas, Councilmembers Gallagher, Joplin, Kaemingk, Krienke, Nick, Steele and Thorpe.

Staff: Clerk-Treasurer Swisher.

Public Requests & Oral Communications: None.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Steele reviewed the claim checks over the weekend.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of August 27, 2019. Motion: Approve the Brier City Council Minutes of August 27, 2019. Moved by Councilmember Gallagher, Seconded by Councilmember Nick. Motion Carried.

Hearings:

Mayor Colinas opened the Public Hearing at 7:03 PM  on Ordinance No. 461, adopting the 2018 General Sewer Plan and repealing Ordinance No. 302. There was no public comment. Mayor Colinas closed the Public Hearing at 7:05 PM.

Ordinances, Resolutions & Orders:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of Ordinance No. 461, adopting the 2018 General Sewer Plan, repealing Ordinance No. 302. Motion: Approve Ordinance No. 461, adopting the 2018 General Sewer Plan, repealing Ordinance No. 302 with the appropriate updates to the map as discussed. Moved by Councilmember Gallagher, Seconded by Councilmember Joplin. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:

Mayor Colinas stated that we do not have business for the September 17^th workshop meeting. Motion: Cancel the workshop meeting of September 17^th. Moved by Councilmember Gallagher, Seconded by Councilmember Nick. Motion Carried.

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the August 2019 Payroll Checks. Motion: Approve the August 2019 Payroll Checks No. 40933, 40934, Checks No. 40960 through No. 40965, Check No. 40969 and EFT transactions in the amount of $142,155.80. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Kaemingk. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the August 2019 Claim Checks. Motion: Approve the August 2019 Claim Checks No 40966 through No. 40968, Check No. 40970 through No. 40998 in the amount of $28,217.29. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Joplin. Motion Carried.
