Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00 PM and the flag salute was given.

Present: Mayor Colinas, Councilmembers Gallagher, Joplin, Kaemingk, Krienke, Nick, Steele and Thorpe.

Public Requests & Oral Communications:

Mayor Colinas opened for Snohomish Health District, Prevention Services Director Nancy Furness with a presentation of current Health District issues.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Steele stated she reviewed Claims checks over the weekend.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of September 24, 2019. Motion: Approve the Brier City Council Minutes of September 24, 2019. Moved by Councilmember Nick, Seconded by Councilmember Thorpe. Councilmember Thorpe asked for consideration to amend the September 24, 2019 meeting minutes to correct the statement on the second page under Miscellaneous Business to remove the words "a tree with" and add the words "a fence". Motion: Approve the Brier City Council Minutes of September 24, 2019 with corrections stated. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Nick. Motion Carried.

New Business, Petitions, Communications, Application Appeals:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration the 2019-2021 Stormwater Capacity Grant to authorize the Mayor's signature. Motion: Approve the 2019-2021 Stormwater Capacity Grant authorizing the Mayor's signature. Moved by Councilmember Krienke. Seconded by Councilmember Steele. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:

Mayor Colinas asked for consideration to cancel the Council Workshop meeting Oct 15th. Motion: Approve to cancel the Council Workshop meeting on October 15^th. Moved by Councilmember Krienke, Seconded by Councilmember Kaemingk. Motion carried.

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the September 2019 Payroll Checks. Motion: Approve the September 2019 Payroll Checks No. 4100, 41052 through No. 41057 and EFT transactions in the amount of $152,464.36. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Gallagher. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the September 2019 Claim Checks. Motion: Approve the September 2019 Claims Checks No. 41058 through No. 41091 in the amount of $26,109.56. Moved by Councilmember Steele, Seconded by Councilmember Nick. Motion Carried.
