Mayor Colinas called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00 PM.

Roll Call:

Present: Mayor Colinas, Councilmembers Gallagher, Joplin, Kaemingk, Krienke, Nick, Steele and Thorpe.

Staff: Clerk-Treasurer Swisher.

Public Requests & Oral Communications: None.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Krienke attended the June 4th police negotiations and May 28^th met with Summit Law about police negotiations.

Councilmember Gallagher attended the Community Transit board meeting on June 7^th.

Councilmember Joplin attended the Board of Health meeting on June 9^th, he reported that Snohomish County can petition for phase 3 in 3 weeks, it appears that schools may reopen in the fall and vaccinations are down about 40% for the year.

Councilmember Kaemingk attended the May 28^th meeting with Summit Law about police negotiations, May 29^th attended the annual report review, June 4^th attended the police negotiations and June 8^th attended the weekly staff meeting.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of May 26, 2020. Motion: Approve the Brier City Council Minutes of May 26, 2020. Moved by Councilmember Nick, Seconded by Councilmember Steele. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:

Mayor Colinas stated there is no business for the June 16^th Brier City Council Workshop meeting. Motion: Cancel the June 16^th Brier City Council Workshop meeting. Moved by Councilmember Gallagher, Seconded by Councilmember Krienke. Motion Carried.

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the May 2020 Payroll Checks Motion: Approve the May 2020 Claim Checks No. 41660 through No. 40663 and EFT transactions in the amount of $128,391.46. Moved by Councilmember Kaemingk, Seconded by Councilmember Krienke. Motion Carried.

Mayor Colinas opened for consideration approval of the May 2020 Claim Checks. Motion: Approve the May 2020 Claim Checks No. 41687 through No. 41725 in the amount of $393,029.14 and voided check #41623. Moved by Councilmember Kaemingk, Seconded by Councilmember Steele. Motion Carried.
