Mayor Kaemingk called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:03 PM.

Roll Call:

Present: Mayor Kaemingk, Councilmembers Gallagher, Joplin, Krienke, Lockhart, Marley, Nick and Rosman.

Staff: Clerk-Treasurer Swisher.

Public Requests & Oral Communications:

Mayor Kaemingk opened the floor for the South County Fire Authority Annual Report Presentation. Chief Hovis gave an overview and introduced the additional members of the Fire Authority entourage. Collectively the report was presented and very informative.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Councilmember Lockhart attended the Parks Board on April 14^th.

Councilmember Nick reviewed claim checks on April 23rd.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Kaemingk opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of April 13, 2021. Motion: Approve the Brier City Council Minutes of April 13, 2021, Moved by Councilmember Marley, Seconded by Councilmember Nick. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:

Council Rosman asked about how the emails sent to the Council as a whole are responded to since the Council is cautioned not to respond. Mayor Kaemingk stated that he responds to the emails.

Mayor Kaemingk opened for consideration approval of the April 2021 Claim Checks. Motion: Approve the April 2021 Claim Checks No. 42579 and No. 42583, Checks No. 42587 through No. 42610 and EFT transactions in the amount of $91,092.06 and voided Checks No. 41982, 42083 and 42113, Moved by Councilmember Nick, Seconded by Councilmember Gallagher. Motion Carried.
