Mayor Kaemingk called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:01 PM.

Roll Call:

Present: Mayor Kaemingk, Councilmembers Gallagher, Krienke, Lockhart, Marley, Moran, Nick, and Rosman.

Staff: Clerk-Treasurer Swisher.

Public Requests & Oral Communications: None.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Mayor Kaemingk attend today along with the Police Chief the quarterly Department of Emergency Management meeting. He reported that he has done more investigating of the issues with Paine Field and has contacted the families that have contacted us to share the information with them. He attended the meeting of the Mountlake Terrace/Brier Chamber of Commerce. He gave a shout out to the Public Works crew for their response to the snow and now dealing with the broken limbs.

Councilmember Nick reported that he attended the Coffee with a Cop event on November 30^th. He also attend the Neighborhood Watch meeting on December 6^th.

Councilmember Gallagher reviewed the checks, attended the tree lighting event, and the staff meeting today.

Councilmember Rosman attend the chamber of commerce meeting.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Kaemingk opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of November 22, 2022. Motion: Approve the Brier City Council Minutes of November 22, 2022. Moved by Councilmember Nick, Seconded by Councilmember Lockhart. Motion Carried.

Mayor Kaemingk opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of November 29, 2022. Motion: Approve the Brier City Council Minutes of November 29, 2022. Moved by Councilmember Gallagher, Seconded by Councilmember Rosman. Motion Carried.

New Business:

Mayor Kaemingk opened for consideration the confirmation of the Mayor's appointment of Stephany Schneider to the Planning Commission Position No. 3 with term set to expire July 31, 2023.

Motion: Approve the Mayor's appointment of Stephany Schneider to the Planning Commission Position No. 3 with term set to expire July 31, 2023. Moved by Councilmember Krienke, Seconded by Councilmember Marley. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:

Mayor Kaemingk opened for consideration to cancel the December 20^th Workshop Meeting and the December 27^th Regular Council Meeting. Motion: Approve to cancel the December 20^th Workshop Meeting and the December 27^th Regular Council Meeting, Moved by Councilmember Gallagher, Seconded by Councilmember Nick. Motion Carried

Councilmember Nick thanked the Council and Staff for all the hard work this year, we've accomplished a lot this year.

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Kaemingk opened for consideration approval of the November 2022 Claim Checks Motion: Approve the November 2022 Claim Checks No. 44230 through No. 44286 in the amount of $163,526.05. Moved by Councilmember Gallagher, Seconded by Councilmember Krienke. Motion Carried.
