Mayor Kaemingk called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00 PM and flag salute was given.

Roll Call:

Present: Mayor Kaemingk, Councilmembers Gallagher, Lockhart, Marley, Allen and Othman.

Absent: Councilmembers Krienke and Rosman.

Staff: Deputy Clerk-Treasurer Snowden.

Public Requests & Oral Communications:

Joel Stuker, Brier - A new home builder on Brier Rd. is not adhering to the construction hours. He has called and talked to staff at City Hall and Police Officers have stopped work as well. Mayor Kaemingk will be talking to Chief Hawley about further action.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Mayor Kaemingk mentioned the city has received the long-term financial draft package from Berk Consulting, the quarterly newsletter is in process with the goal of being mailed by the end of the month, and Snohomish Co. Mayors are working with the Legislators regarding juvenile crime.

Councilmember Lockhart reviewed claim checks on June 11^th.

Councilmember Gallagher attended the Community Transit meeting last week and met with the Public Works department.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Kaemingk opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of May 28, 2024. Motion: Approve the Brier City Council Minutes of May 28, 2024. Moved by Councilmember Marley, Seconded by Councilmember Lockhart. Motion Carried.

Mayor Kaemingk opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Workshop Minutes of June 4, 2024. Motion: Approve the Brier City Council Workshop Minutes of June 4, 2024. Moved by Councilmember Gallagher, Seconded by Councilmember Marley. Motion Carried.

Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:

Councilmember Gallagher will not be at the next workshop meeting on June 18th due to attending the AWC Conference.

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Kaemingk opened for consideration approval of the May 2024 Payroll Checks.

Motion: Approve the May 2024 Payroll Checks No. 45729 through No. 45733 and EFT transactions in the amount of $197,047.34. Moved by Councilmember Lockhart, Seconded by Councilmember Gallagher. Motion Carried.

Mayor Kaemingk opened for consideration approval of the May 2024 Claim Checks.

Motion: Approve the May 2024 Claim Check No. 45728, Checks No. 45734 through No.45764 in the amount of $143,348.84. Moved by Councilmember Lockhart, Seconded by Councilmember Gallagher. Motion Carried.
