Mayor Kaemingk called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00 PM and flag salute was given.

Roll Call:

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Mayor Kaemingk attended the Board of Health meeting, regular Mayor's meetings and Regional Aquatics meeting, which includes the cities of Brier, MLT, Edmonds, Woodway, Shoreline and Bothell.

Councilmember Gallagher reviewed Checks and attended the Community Transit meeting. He reported that Community Transit revenue is down.

Councilmember Allen reminded everyone that Seascare is tomorrow. He also informed council that Parks Board member Hendrickson resigned from the Parks Board as of July.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Kaemingk opened for consideration of the bid award for the decant facility to Interwest Construction in the amount of $1,536,535.65. Clerk Treasurer Swisher gave a brief overview. Mayor Kaemingk opened for consideration of Ordinance No. 505, amending Chapter 3.12 of the Brier Municipal Code to levy utility taxes on sewerage businesses, storm and surface water businesses, and water distribution businesses within the city.
