BRIER CITY COUNCIL MINUTES
April 14, 2026
Mayor Pro-Tem Krienke called the regular Brier City
Council Meeting to order at 7:00 PM and flag salute was given.
Roll Call:
Present: Mayor Pro-Tem Krienke, Councilmembers Allen,
Gallagher, Marley, Othman and Parsons.
Staff: City Clerk-Treasurer
Absent: Mayor Kaemingk, Councilmember
Lockhart.
Public
Requests & Oral Communications:
Steve Dekoekkoek, Brier-Asked the Council where the
36th Sidehill Project was located.
Allyson Templeton, Brier-Shared that Brier Grocery
is not yet sold. She also said she talked to City Planner Michaelis about a
nuisance property and wanted to request that the City pay attention to
non-compliant properties. Clerk-Treasurer Swisher responded that the City of
Brier is a complaint-based code enforcement.

Councilmember Marley and
Councilmember Krienke met with the Police Chief today.
Councilmember Allen
attended the Egg Hunt along with other Councilmembers.
Councilmember Gallagher
reviewed checks and attended a Community Transit meeting.
Councilmember Othman
thanked Steve Dekoekkoek for the unofficial egg hunt he started a few years
ago.
