Mayor Kaemingk called the regular Brier City Council Meeting to order at 7:00 PM and flag salute was given.

Roll Call:

Present: Mayor Kaemingk, Councilmembers Allen, Gallagher, Krienke, Lockhart, Othman and Parsons.

Absent: Councilmember Marley.

Public Requests & Oral Communications: None.

Reports of Committees & City Officials:

Mayor Kaemingk attended all his regular meetings.

Councilmember Gallagher attended the Community Transit meeting and gave the council an update. He also reviewed checks.

Councilmember Parsons met with Mayor Kaemingk to go over the details for Brier Park restroom project.

Councilmember Krienke was going to attend the library meeting but there was no quorum.

Approval of Minutes:

Mayor Kaemingk opened for consideration approval of the Brier City Council Minutes of August 25, 2026. Motion: Approve the Brier City Council Minutes of August 25, 2026, Moved by Councilmember Gallagher, Seconded by Councilmember Parsons. Motion Carried.

New Business, Petitions, Communications, Application Appeals:

Mayor Kaemingk opened for consideration approval to release maintenance assurance for Sea Pac Homes, Inc., related to the final paving of 223^rd Pl SW as part of the plat of Estate of Dreams (SUB21-01). Miscellaneous Business by Call of Councilmembers & City Officials:

Mayor Kaemingk told Council that there will be a Workshop meeting next week to discuss the bond release process and ideas on how they can support City Planner Michaelis better.

Councilmember Othman shared that Edmonds School District started the school year last week and wanted to ask if there has been an update from Pace engineering regarding the crosswalks. He also asked how West Coast Code Consultants turnaround time was.

Auditing of Accounts:

Mayor Kaemingk opened for consideration approval of the September 2026 Claims Checks.
