Chairman Lavoie called the Brier Planning Commission meeting to order at 7:03 PM.

ROLL CALL:

Present:            Commissioners David Marley, Michael Lavoie, Scott Warner, and Kerin Steele. Commissioner Keith Maw arrived at 7:07 PM.

Absent:             Commissioner and Allyn Chrisman and Gene Funk,

Mayor Colinas, Councilman Krienke, and Councilman Kaemingk were in attendance.

OLD BUSINESS – CONTINUATION:

CONTINUE DISCUSSION ON DRAFT COMPREHENSIVE PLAN:

Chairman Lavoie opened for consideration the continuation of the discussion on the Draft Comprehensive Plan.

Paul Sweum, Community Development Director explained that Mr. Robert Thorpe, Planning Consultant, AICP attended tonight’s meeting to give advisement and recommendations to resolve any final questions and concerns and to arrive at a consensus on how to address any modifications into a final draft form for the Land Use and Housing elements.

Commissioner Steele moved and Commissioner Marley seconded to send to the Brier City Council the Utilities, Transportation and Capital Facilities Elements of the Draft Comprehensive Plan with the recommendation that the Utilities and Capital Facilities be referred by Council to the City engineer for their review.  Motion Carried with Commissioner Maw voting Nay.
