. BRIER PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES March 21, 2007 7:00 PM Chairperson Kerin Steele called the Brier Planning Commission meeting to order at 7:00 PM. ROLL CALL: Present: Commissioners, Robert Thorpe, Kim Smith, David Marley, Gene Funk, Michael Lavoie, APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Chairperson Kerin Steele removed March 7, 2007 Planning Commission meeting minutes from the agenda for minor adjustments as requested by Administration. Approval of the November 1, 2007 Planning Commission minutes has been moved to April 18, 2007 agenda. COMMITTEE REPORTS: Councilman Krienke discussed Council's approval of Perya Corp flooring business. PUBLIC REQUESTS & ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: None NEW BUSINESS - PUBLIC HEARINGS: Chairperson Kerin Steele opened for consideration approval of CUP#07-001 for an Accessory Dwelling Unit located on Mr. And Mrs. Martin Dinsmore's property at 23803 29th Ave W. Martin Dinsmore explained that they wanted to move a 24 x 40' manufactured home onto their property for his aging mother to live in. Mayor Colinas gave an update regarding the BMC zoning and requirements for manufactured homes. Public hearing opened at 7:21 pm. No discussion. Public hearing closed at 7:22 pm. Commissioner Marley moved and Commissioner Funk seconded to approve Conditional Use Permit #07-001 and include staff recommendations and conditions that apply to setbacks as stated in BMC. Motion carried. OLD BUSINESS: None MISC. BUSINESS: Mayor Colinas has invited staff to a Land Use Training Session May 3, 2007. Mayor Colinas also informed the Commission of our new City Attorney, Rob Kasaguma. ADJOURNMENT: Commissioner Lavoie moved and Commissioner Smith seconded to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 7:30 P.M.
