Chairman Marley called the Brier Planning Commission meeting to order at 7:05:13 PM

PRESENT:                                Chairman Marley, Commissioners Magnuson, Scott,  Smith, Olson, and Councilmember Kaemingk. Commissioner Joplin arrived at 7:06:56 PM

ABSENT:                                  Commissioner Thorpe

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

Dale Kaemingk gave a brief overview of what City Council has discussed since the last Planning Commission meeting.

NEW BUSINESS – PUBLIC HEARINGS:

Chairman Marley opened for consideration the wording change to two sections of Code in Title 16 regarding development of illegally subdivided lots, and addition of one new section of Code in Title 16 regarding innocent purchaser status. Associate Planner Nicole Gaudette gave a brief overview of Title 16 to the Commissioners. Public Hearing opened at 7:38:14 PM. No public was in attendance. Public Hearing closed at 7:39:00 PM .  Commissioner Magnuson moved, seconded by Commissioner Smith, to approve recommendation to the City Council the adoption of Ordinance No. 362, changing “chapter” to “title” in Brier Municipal Code Chapter 16.12.030 and 16.12.050, and addition of new Brier Municipal Code Chapter 16.12.035 to determine innocent purchaser status, with the definition of “Group” in section C to be looked at. Motion Carried.

MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS:

There was discussion regarding the Fire District 1 project.
