Chairman Marley called the Brier Planning Commission meeting to order at 7:02:05 PM.

ROLL CALL:

PRESENT:                                  Commissioner Marley, Joplin, Scott and Weston. Commissioner Smith arrived at 7:03:10 PM.

ABSENT:                                    Commissioner Magnuson and Perry;

STAFF:                                       City Planner Gaudette.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

Chairman Marley opened for consideration approval of the June 16, 2010 Planning Commission minutes. Commissioner Smith made a MOTION to approve the June 16, 2010 Planning Commission minutes as written. Commissioner Joplin SECONDED. Chairman Marley abstained. Motion Carried.

COMMITTEE REPORTS: None.

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

Chairman Marley opened for consideration to update the BMC in regards to Planning Commission meeting guidelines. City Planner Gaudette proposed the new guidelines. The public hearing opened at 7:08:17 PM. The public hearing closed at 7:08:44 PM.

There was Commission discussion. Commissioner Scott made a MOTION to recommend approval to City Council, Ordinance No. 382 as written by staff with the correction of adding the wording, “a visible location inside City Hall”. Commissioner Smith SECONDED. Motion carried.

MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS:

City Planner Gaudette gave an overview of active plats and short plats within the City.
