Chairman Marley called the Brier Planning Commission meeting to order at 7:00:45 PM.

ROLL CALL:

PRESENT:                                  Commissioner Marley, Smith, Weston and Myers; Councilmember Kaemingk.

ABSENT:                                    Commissioner Kolden, Scott and Carroll.

STAFF:                                       City Planner Gaudette.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

Chairman Marley opened for consideration approval of the May 16, 2012 Planning Commission minutes. Commissioner Weston made a MOTION to approve the May 16, 2012 Planning Commission minutes. Commissioner Myers SECONDED. Motion Carried. Commissioner Smith abstained.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

Councilmember Kaemingk discussed recent City Council activity.

PUBLIC REQUESTS & ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: None.

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

Chairman Marley opened discussion for modification to the Critical Area Ordinance. City Planner Gaudette gave an overview of the changes to the ordinance. Chairman Marley opened the Public Hearing at 7:14:48 PM. There was no public in attendance; the Public Hearing was closed at 7:15:03 PM. There was Commissioner discussion. Commissioner Smith made a MOTION to recommend approval to City Council to modify Title 18 by adding section 18.60.010.B to the Brier Municipal Code, in addition to adopting Stream 0056 and Abbey View Drainage classification map as attached to The Water Shed Company report dated April 30, 2012. Commissioner Myers SECONDED. Motion carried.

MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS:

City Planner Gaudette gave an overview of active projects throughout the City.
